Used Book Sale
Open to students during the day and the public from 3:15-4:00. All paperback books are $0.50 and hard backs are $1.00.

Kindergarten Round Up
If you have a child that will be attending kindergarten at Westwood View for the 2025-2026 school year, a meeting will be held on April 15 at 6:00p.m. Your kindergarten student should attend with you.

Culvers Spirit Night
Make dinner really easy and benefit Westwood View at the same time! A percentage of proceeds from dine in or carry out goes back to Westwood View. Tell your friends and neighbors too!



Coffee Cart
Join us for a cup of coffee to celebrate the last month of school! The coffee cart will be located on the library patio if weather permits (otherwise, in the teacher’s lounge).

Art Fair
Join us for the annual Art Fair showcasing the work of all of the Westwood View artists. There will be Cupini’s offered in the cafeteria for $10/person, including pasta, salad, bread and dessert. Cash or Venmo only.

Come celebrate the 6th graders leaving elementary school for the last time!

Science Night
Join us for the annual Science Night - a fun event for the whole family! SME Animals, Lego Robotics Club, SME Anatomy, WV Maker Space and lots more!

This content is for adults only but will give you practical ways to talk to your kids about screen use.

WV x Rainy Day Books Holiday Sip & Shop
Please join us for this exciting annual event on Monday, November 25 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Rainy Day Books!
Everyone in attendance will receive complimentary drinks and a 10% discount on their purchase. Plus, 10% of the gross amount sold during the evening will be donated to Westwood View Library!

Veterans Day Assembly
The assembly will honor veterans and those currently serving our country who are a part of the lives of Westwood View staff and students. We will have a guest speaker talk to us about what it means to serve in the military and answer any questions the kids may have about military service. Each WV family is welcome to invite a veteran in their life to attend this special assembly and a gathering of veterans with refreshments prior to the assembly at 1:30pm in the Westwood View library.
Parents are also welcome to attend the assembly with their child.

Chipotle Spirit Night
Make dinner easy and benefit WV at the same time! PV Shops location only, 4-8pm, in store by showing the flyer or online pickup orders using the code WQDRA9X.

Halloween Candy Drive
Wondering how to stop eating all your kids' leftover Halloween candy? Please drop off any extra candy in the front office. We are collecting candy to set out for the teachers throughout the year when they need a quick sweet treat!


Fall Parties/Parade
The parade will begin at 2:00 pm (playground gates open at 1:50) and classroom parties will be at 2:15 pm.

Boo at WWV Carnival
Come for your favorites, but there will be new activities to love and adore!
$8 per child or $20/family. Free 5 & under (if not enrolled in WV).
Venmo @wwvpta (memo: oldest child’s last name, teacher, number of bands). Adults don’t need bands. Cash or check welcome night of at the Welcome Booth.

There will be “Great Pumpkin“ Halloween Grab Bags at the carnival this year. All bags have some candy and a lucky 12 have candy and a pumpkin sticker. Those 12 will get to select a gift card from some of our local businesses. DOLLAR BILLS ONLY AT THIS STATION!!!
