Auction Parties
Parties are one of the best fundraisers of our Auction - and the most fun too!! Not only do these parties raise money for our school, but they also help to build our community! In order to offer a wide range of these parties, we need the help of our Parents.
Our goal this year is to offer more parties in each grade, and school wide parties as well! If you are interested in hosting a party, please sign up HERE: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70A044DA4A72EA2FE3-54364593-westwood#/
When you sign up, please include your party theme & email. We will reach out to you regarding the value of your party and the date. See additional FAQs on parties below.
Auction parties will go live BEFORE the event to allow all to purchase and support our school!

FAQs
What does this event support?
This event is the main fundraiser for the Westwood View Education Enhancement Fund (EEF). In the recent years, the EEF has funded Teacher & Parent submitted grants, school equipment and the salaries of our amazing Specials teachers! This year, the event will continue to fund the EEF, and also provide funding to our PTA. PTA funding will be used to provide more FREE events to our families, supply yearbooks to all, and most importantly - support our teachers!
What is the theme?
A night in Emerald City! Yes, we are still in Kansas…but let’s pretend we’ve ventured Somewhere over the Rainbow into Emerald City! Wear your best Wicked or Wizard of Oz inspired outfit!
Do I need to dress up?
While it is NOT required to dress up - it is FUN, and most people do! A prize will be given to our favorite costumes of the evening!
Are the tables assigned?
NO! This year, we will have open seating. There will be plenty of room to stand and socialize, as well as tables for those that would like to sit. Tables will be first come, first serve.
I want to host a party! What types of parties have been offered in the past?
Kid parties have included: pool, craft, baking, bubble, and sports themed parties. Please be sure to clarify if your party is for a specific grade & gender, or open to all students in the school!
Adult parties have included: Pasta making, Mahjong, floral arranging, private shopping events, Fantasy football, Golf, Pickleball, Crafts, Cooking, ETC! Please include if your party is specific to parents of a particular grade, or open to all.
What is included in my ticket?
Open bar, DJ entertainment, and late-night pizza. It is HIGHLY suggested to eat prior to the event, as the pizza will not arrive until the end of the evening. The good news about hosting this event at Powell Community Center, is that Johnson Drive is full of great restaurants and bars to visit before & after the event!
How is the parking situation?
Powell offers a TON of parking for our guests! However we always encourage rideshare for safety reasons.
